Our vistors are able to visit the following rooms of the castle:
All of these rooms originate from the time of the re-construction of the castle between 1545 to 1547. The bear a renaissance distinct renaissance style
and are already listed in the stock register of 1552. The parlours, chambers and halls were named after their dominating colours. Windows, curtains and furniture were designed in the same colours as the ceilings of the rooms.
Throughout the last centuries, the rooms have been altered several times.
Although the original furniture did not survive, the ceilings of the rooms have been restored lavishly and today, they resemble their former beauty again.

Several rooms at Wildeck castle were re-opened for visitors and guests after being restored throughout the last years.
Learn during a guided tour about the history of the fortress, be delighted by the beautiful view from the halls and the keep’s cisterns, realize yourself the exposed position of the castles high above the river Zschopau and enjoy the almost ghostly atmosphere in the former castle cistern. Or are you more fascinated by minerals?
Be amazed at the old but fully functioning technology in the book printing museum, the book binding shop and the stamp department. Furthermore, you will have the chance to watch the members of the numismatic society of Zschopau when they coin medals. Finally, do not miss the motorcycle exhibition. It does not only present a selection of DKW and MZ motorcycles, but also reveals the interesting history of manufacturing motorcycles and the town Zschopau in words, pictures and movies.

A magnificent permanent exhibition of minerals is open to visitors after the re-construction of the former cellar which was used as military base (German: Regimentskeller).
In the ancient vault, numerous single items of the collection of Mr Lippmann from Marienberg are presented to the public. The collection, which contains findings from the entire area of the Ore Mountains, includes calcites, barytes, fluorites, and silver.
